Dr. Norihiko Hayazawa was awarded the Young Scientists' Prize of the Commendation for Science and Technology by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology for "the development of tip-enhanced Raman microscopy and its application to nano-spectroscopy".
